Growing up in Southern California, I consider myself a very lucky girl. The love of sunshine and warm ocean waters inspires to constantly create beautiful wedding images. Southern California is such an amazing place to live, love and play. From the beautiful coastal towns to the mountains. It’s an escape like no other. Sometimes it feels like I live on vacation. Whenever I travel abroad for work or play, I have to pinch myself and be grateful to call Southern California, home.
Travel has always been close to my heart. Seeing new places and meeting new people is exciting and keeps me grounded. I have been fortunate enough to photograph in many distant places in the world, India being one of them. On this trip to India I photographed an engagement session in Jaipur India. We started the day early before the sun rose and drove to the base of a historical palace. At the base of the palace were elephants that were used as transportation up to the top of the palace. We rode on the back of the elephants and photographed all the way up to the top. Each elephant had its own handeler and a basket where we could sit (and take photos). Each elephant was hand painted by with natural dyes in the shapes of flowers
I am very lucky to be sharing my life with my husband. It is such a comforting feeling to know that there is always somebody there for you from the hard times where all I want to do is to cry to the good times where we can celebrate with one another. We have been married for 5 years and in those years we have been thru a lot together and have grown together individually and as a couple. We have seen many parts of the world together. My husband gives me a sense of adventure and pushes me to do things I normally would not even think of trying. If you ask me where my favorite place in the world is, my answer would be at home with my husband.
