Posing a bride for a mehndi photoshoot is the perfect way for us to start our photography experience, Here are some general guidelines to help you pose a like model:

The Mehndi is wet: Exactly! The last thing we want to do is mess up the mehndi designs that took hows to complete. So, how do you look natural and your best with wet Mehndi designs. Here are some our quick tips to look and feel like a model.

What to wear: Get dressed before you start applying the mehndi and have your hair and make-up done before you sit down. We something that you will be comfortable in and does not extend over the part of the body where the mehndi will be applied.

Communication: Before you start posing, communicate with us about the look and feel you want to achieve. Do you have a side that you prefer to be photographed? Explain the mood and the message you want to convey with the photos. This will help the us to understand what you are looking for.

Start with the basics: Stand up straight with shoulders back, and chin up. This will create a confident and elegant posture.

Work the hands: Hands are one of the most challenging parts to pose. A big part of the mehndi art is on the hands and arms. So, we want to make sure we show this off in every possible way. We always are asked, “What do I do with my hands?” As we start to photograph you, we will become inspired and experiment with different angles to create a variety of looks and moods.

Create movement: Movement can add a dynamic and dramatic feel to the shoot. We may ask you to walk, or twirl to create movement and energy in the shot. So, let your hair down, be radiant and let’s go for it.

Pay attention to your facial expressions: Your’s facial expressions can communicate a lot about the mood and message of the photos. We encourage our brides to show different emotions such as joy, captivating, or compased.

Have fun: Posing for photos can be nerve-wracking for some brides. we encourage them to relax, have fun, and be themselves. The more relaxed and natural the bride is, the better the photos will be. Below are some poses brides can do while posing with Mehndi.
